Job summary

YMP Real Estate Management, LLC. seeks a Maintenance Technician for a 200+ unit Class C community in Florida. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry, while maintaining records in Yardi Voyager 8 for move-outs, make-readies, and inventories.

You must be highly organized, customer-focused, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of maintenance technician experience in property management.
• Experience at Class C property with workforce housing and Section 8 residents preferred.
• Hands-on trades: painting, plumbing, appliance & disposal repair, HVAC servicing.
• Yardi Voyager 8 proficiency including work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Move-outs/move-ins: assess condition, document damages, photos, and inventory.
• Make-ready: complete punch-lists, painting, cleaning coordination, final inspection.
• Repair & maintenance: perform skilled trades and diagnose/building system issues.
• Work orders: create, document, track status; prioritize emergencies and routine tasks.
• Scheduling & collaboration: coordinate with management and ownership group; follow safety policies.
