Job summary

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance skills.
• Experience leading a maintenance team preferred.
• Willingness to be on call and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily maintenance operations, including service requests, preventative maintenance, and unit turns.
• Recruit, train, and develop maintenance team members to ensure strong performance and accountability.
• Prioritize and assign work to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
• Provide hands-on support for complex or critical repairs as needed.
• Operate, maintain, and oversee the use of maintenance equipment, tools, and property vehicles.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with the Community Manager to support overall property performance and asset preservation.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program aligned with company standards.
• Oversee unit turns to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment to support efficient operations.
• Ensure amenity areas and property condition meet company expectations.
• Support seasonal property needs, including snow and ice removal.
