Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the property maintenance team in Kansas City, MO. You will schedule daily tasks, manage preventative maintenance, and coordinate with management on staffing and vendor work.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. Supervisory experience is preferred to lead a responsive maintenance operation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending maintenance, custodial, or grounds personnel with the manager.
• Assist in training all service, custodial, and grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Oversee vendor work and ensure timely completion.
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies for service and custodial departments.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed at all times.
• Respond to service requests on a 24-hour basis when needed.
