Job summary

Mission Rock Residential LLC is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property and ensure facilities meet standards and laws. You will lead the maintenance team, schedule tasks, and supervise repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

You will train staff, manage vendor relationships, and participate in frequent property inspections while handling after-hours emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Comprehension of federal fair housing laws
• Ability to work within budgetary guidelines
• Knowledge of general property repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned property
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations
• Direct and supervise maintenance team, assign tasks and monitor progress
• Train and coach maintenance staff
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and more
• Conduct daily property inspections and maintain cleanliness
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships and quality control
• Complete unit turns, painting, drywall, and wear-and-tear items
• Respond to after-hours on-call emergencies on a rotation basis
