Job summary

Mission Rock Residential is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to oversee daily maintenance operations at the assigned property and ensure standards meet company policies and applicable laws. You will lead a maintenance team, coordinate schedules, supervise tasks, and partner with vendors to maintain safety and quality.

The role requires knowledge of federal fair housing laws, budgeting, and a broad range of repair skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related areas.

Qualifications

• Understanding of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions.
• Ability to work within budgetary guidelines.
• Knowledge of general property repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pool, appliances).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance at the property.
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Direct and supervise maintenance team activities and schedules.
• Train and coach maintenance staff.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Inspect property daily and maintain cleanliness with the team.
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships and quality control.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotation basis.
