Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support resident services and community upkeep. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and drive the make-ready process for leasing ready units while coordinating with vendors and the Community Manager.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds and building exteriors, ensuring policy-compliant safety practices, and contributing to budget planning for repairs. Strong customer service and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively for internal and resident interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine maintenance.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance standards across the property.
• Inspects work of staff and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and budget-conscious supply management.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance and supports budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Follows safety procedures and OSHA requirements; participates in safety meetings.
