Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations at our Washington state properties. You will ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while managing requests, budgets, and preventative maintenance tasks.

The role requires hands-on maintenance and carpentry skills, plus leadership to mentor a maintenance team and collaborate with property managers to maintain high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at the property.
• Ensure compliance with Avenue5 policies and laws.
• Manage service requests and unit make-ready standards.
• Review progress of service requests and identify chronic issues.
• Respond to maintenance issues promptly per policy.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
• Conduct regular property inspections for safety and cleanliness.
• Manage on-call emergencies and after-hours maintenance.
• Maintain budget adherence and cost reporting.
• Mentor maintenance team and coordinate with property manager.
• Walk property weekly with leadership to address challenges.
