Job summary

Responsibilities cover HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, floors, lighting, and safety systems, plus overseeing make-ready units and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair involving electrical, plumbing, A/C and heating, appliances, floors, lights, locks, and safety systems.
• Ensure vacant apartments are restored to “rent ready” status per policy.
• Keep grounds neat and free of litter; rake, sweep, shovel as needed.
• Maintain accurate records per EPA/OSHA standards and maintenance activities.
• Monitor property condition and report/ correct unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors; manage make-ready repairs and schedule.
• Wear PPE and train team to follow safety standards.
• Communicate goals, progress, and budget considerations with the Property Manager.
