Job summary

Pratum Co is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of service requests at a residential property. The role involves assisting with special projects and preventative maintenance, making-ready tasks, and inspections to ensure safety and appearance.

The candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in residential maintenance, strong communication skills, and knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read/write English fluently.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a residential property management maintenance technician.
• Able to speak with tenants and maintain good relations with staff, tenants and supervisors.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor on special maintenance projects, including preventative maintenance.
• Complete resident service requests in a timely fashion.
• Make-ready procedures: paint, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical fixtures; replace faulty parts.
• Perform regular inspections of grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment.
