Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and uphold safety and property standards. You will assist with servicing requests and ensure timely completion while coordinating with leasing teams to maximize renewals.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• EPA certificates for refrigerant handling.
• Strong verbal and written English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Assist in maintenance, safety compliance, and on-call duties as needed.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and make-ready status.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, etc.).
• Assist in preparing property for inspections and coordinate with manager.
