Job summary

Pennrose Management Company in New Jersey is seeking a Property Leasing Specialist to market and lease assigned properties and provide resident services. You will develop and implement policies with the Property Manager and Regional Property Manager, coordinate leasing events, and maintain relations with residents and vendors.

Strong communication, customer service, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office are required; occasional travel between properties is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in multi-family property management.
• Experience with HUD programs (HOPE VI and/or Section 8) preferred.
• Proficiency with Yardi software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leasing events such as open houses and tours.
• Assist with resident services programming and communications.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Manage answering service and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Notify residents of tenancy issues and handle disputes when needed.
• Assist with security deposit administration and unit inspections.
• Maintain filing systems for tenant, applicant, and accounting records.
• Lead property tours and track referrals, walk-ins, and inquiries.
