Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a property leasing and operations professional to market and lease assigned properties while delivering resident services. You will implement policies under the Property Manager and Regional PM guidance, coordinating events and promotions, and ensuring top‑notch customer service across all communications.

Responsibilities include processing applications, managing security deposits, maintaining files, and supporting annual inspections and marketing analyses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in multi-family property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and/or HOPE 6 preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD programs including HOPE 6 and Section 8.
• Proficiency with Yardi preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, travel ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leasing events such as open houses and tours.
• Assist with resident services programming and promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Oversee property’s answering service and customer service quality.
• Notify residents of tenancy issues and manage communications.
• File eviction court documents and attend hearings as landlord’s representative.
• Administer security deposits and unit move‑outs.
• Support Property Manager with building security measures and notifications.
• Process accounts payable/receivable and property expenditures.
• Lead property tours and market vacant units and amenities.
• Track referrals, walk‑ins and inquiries; maintain leasing references.
• Prepare leasing checklists and application packages for approvals.
• Review applications for Property Manager’s approval and maintain filings.
