Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a Marketing and Leasing Associate to manage marketing and leasing for assigned properties while delivering resident services under the Property Manager and Regional Property Manager. The role includes coordinating leasing events, tours, and promotional activities, and ensuring high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities extend to administering resident services programs, maintaining filing systems, processing applications, and supporting budgeting and property

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in multi-family property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and/or HOPE 6 preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD programs including HOPE 6 and Section 8.
• Proficiency in Yardi preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leasing events such as open houses, realtor tours, and resident promotional activities.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Oversee the property's calling system and ensure accurate contact information.
• Notify residents of issues affecting tenancy and mediate disputes when necessary.
• Assist Property Manager with licensing and court appearances as landlord's representative.
• Assist with maintaining building security measures and incident notifications.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable procedures and process property expenditures.
• Lead property tours, market amenities, and track referrals and inquiries.
• Prepare leasing checklists and screen applications for approval.
• Maintain filing systems for tenant, applicant, accounting, vendor, and contracts.
• Maintain deposit and rental collections and manage move-in/out inspections.
• Remain compliant with laws and company policies affecting leasing.
