InTown Suites in Indianapolis is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily property operations and drive financial performance. You will manage staff, guest services, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budget planning, revenue management, and the ability to adapt to evolving market conditions. You will collaborate with local authorities and uphold company policies while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret information found in reports and internal hotel information.
• Sufficient mathematical skills to prepare forecasts and reports, calculate room revenue, occupancy and labor costs.
• General computer proficiency.
• Thorough knowledge of Front Office operations, service standards and guest relations.
• Knowledge to perform a variety of front office positions as needed.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability and flexibility to work long hours on a regular basis and as business demands.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in stressful situations.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to make effective judgments and solve guest and operational problems.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, interview and hire all property staff.
• Train and develop property staff.
• Oversee office operations including check-in/out, money handling, bookkeeping and payroll.
• Ensure and provide excellent guest service.
• Develop expertise on computer operating systems.
• Identify and manage repair and maintenance issues.
• Identify capital expenditure needs and assist with projects.
• Identify life/safety issues and inspection issues.
• Notify Supervisor of guest concerns.
• Maximize financial performance through revenue management and pricing recommendations.
• Meet budgets through P&L analysis and cost and inventory control.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
• Monitor competitors for their market.
• Drive sales through local marketing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local governmental authorities.
• Assist in recruitment and training of other General Managers.
