Job summary

Hunt Military Housing Shared Services, LLC is seeking a Community Manager to support the Community Director in running a military housing property. You will supervise staff, manage rent rolls, and oversee leasing and vendor payments while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, financial reporting, and resident relations, with opportunities to drive retention and coordinate events for residents and families on base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or related discipline preferred.
• 2 years property leasing experience or applicable skills required.
• 1-3 years experience managing others required.
• Previous experience with YARDI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Community Supervisors, Leasing Specialists and Resident Service Specialists.
• Monitors accounts receivable including rent collection and rent roll.
• Collects delinquent account balances from previous residents.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports including month-end pre-close and closeout.
• Audits records to identify lease expiration dates, delinquencies, and unlawful detainers.
• Processes evictions, including paperwork, notices, and court hearings.
• Leases units as needed and ensures lease files are complete.
• Sends lease expiration letters and processes renewals.
• Enters, processes, and receives vendor payables; scans invoices to AP for payments.
• Performs site safety inspections and ensures timely reconditioning of units after move-out.
• Coordinates with maintenance for timely make-ready and reconditioning.
• Assists with resident retention and planning social events.
• Assumes property operations in the Community Director’s absence.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
