Job summary

Hunt Military Communities is seeking a Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Director in keeping our properties safe, attractive, and functional. You will lead maintenance staff, implement preventive programs, inspect facilities, and prepare units for rent, ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.

The role involves scheduling, budgeting, on-call coverage, and coordinating with other teams to drive resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 4–6 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• 1–3 years of staff supervisory experience.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• OSHA-10 Training required.
• Driver's license valid in-state.
• Daily use of technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Maintenance Technicians and staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Manages maintenance budget and controls expenses within guidelines.
• Schedules and evaluates maintenance personnel and ensures required training.
• Prioritizes work orders and tracks timely completion.
• Ensures on-time response and completion of work orders.
• Establishes emergency on-call procedures and safety practices.
• Manages company-owned equipment and small tools.
• Makes regular property inspections and prepares purchase orders.
