Job summary

Envolve Client Services Group in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the overall performance of a property, including staffing, leasing, budgeting, and resident relations. You will drive NOI through cost control and effective management, while ensuring compliance with all policies and Fair Housing laws.

The role requires strong financial and leadership skills, experience with Tax Credit affordable housing, and the ability to travel for training.

Qualifications

• Must have strong financial management skills with budgeting and cost control
• Ability to lead on-site staff and manage a fast-paced environment
• Solid multi-tasking and deadline-driven work style
• Experience with Tax Credit Affordable housing properties is required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and communication with residents, vendors, and staff
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and travel for training/meetings
• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred; 3 years property management experience
• Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the property
• Lead leasing and marketing activities and analyze market trends
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets
• Monitor resident leases and ensure rent collection
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and corporate policies
• Direct maintenance staff and ensure property is market-ready
• Bid, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts and projects
• Provide reports and mentor on-site staff to improve sales and marketing
• Maintain safety standards and inspect property regularly
• Coordinate training and travel for staff as needed
