Envolve Community Management, LLC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations at a senior apartment community in Hopewell, VA. You will lead on-site staff, drive leasing and marketing, manage budgets and resident relations, and ensure compliance with housing laws.

The role requires strong financial management, staff leadership, and a focus on resident satisfaction and NOI optimization at the property.

Qualifications

• Strong financial management skills with budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Ability to lead staff in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Solid multi-tasking skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient communication with coworkers, residents, vendors and corporate staff.
• Experience with OneSite, Yardi and/or eSite preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays when the business requires.
• Must be able to travel for training and occasional business meetings.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Community Manager or 5+ years as Assistant Community Manager; Tax Credit and HUD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all aspects of the day to day operation of assigned property.
• Direct on-site staff and lead leasing and marketing activities.
• Develop yearly operating and capital budget plans.
• Monitor and enforce resident lease obligations.
• Understand and maintain strict adherence to State and Federal Fair Housing Laws.
• Provide direction and oversight to property maintenance staff; ensure market-ready units.
• Promote and teach safe work practices and ensure safety of site and occupants.
• Perform regular inspections of managed property.
• Bid, negotiate and manage vendor service contracts and one-time projects.
• Train and mentor office staff in sales and marketing materials.
• Provide reports as required.
• Responsible for rental collection and posting as well as inputting invoices.
