Job summary

Envolve Client Services Group seeks a Community Manager for Westview on The Avenue in Baltimore, MD. You will supervise on-site staff, lead leasing and marketing efforts, and manage budgets to maximize NOI while ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role requires Tax Credit housing experience, strong financial acumen, and proficiency with MS Office. On-site work with occasional travel, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have strong financial management skills and be well versed in budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Ability to work effectively and lead the community staff in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
• Solid multi-tasking skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Must have solid understanding and experience with Tax Credit Affordable housing properties.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers, residents, vendors and corporate staff.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays when the business requires.
• Must be able to travel for training and occasional business meetings.
• High School diploma or equivalent; some college strongly preferred
• 3 years of property management and/or equivalent experience required
• Must have a valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the day to day operation of the property.
• Lead leasing and marketing activities and ensure market readiness.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets and monitor expenses.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State fair housing laws.
• Provide direction to maintenance staff and oversee vendor contracts.
• Maintain resident relations and oversee collections and postings.
• Prepare reports and supervise on-site staff performance.
