Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Community Manager (Full-Time, Exempt) in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on protecting and enhancing community value, while optimizing living experience for residents through directing overall operations.

Responsibilities include managing leasing, maintenance, safety, marketing, and financial reporting; supervising on-site teams; and ensuring compliance with leases and company policies. Cardinal U training is available.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years’ experience in property management.
• Working knowledge of property management software; Yardi is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Google platform.
• Ability to analyze monthly financial statements and prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects, including remote work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a positive, professional, client-oriented attitude with team members, residents, clients, and the public.
• Strive to improve community performance to meet or exceed financial/operational goals.
• Direct day-to-day activities of loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, marketing, leasing and upkeep.
• Develop cash flow and leasing strategy to operate the property.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and variances; manage cash and receivables.
• Maintain accurate community files and input lease data into management software.
• Coordinate revenue collection following lease obligations.
• Engage, supervise and approve invoices for goods/services.
• Lead on-site maintenance, office staff and leasing team.
• Manage resident relations, repairs, rent charges, and lease issues.
• Participate in Cardinal U training and monitor team participation.
