Job summary

Greystar is seeking a property manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned apartment community in Houston. You will lead the onsite team, manage budgets, leases, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

You will analyze financials, drive occupancy and revenue growth, maintain safety and appearance, and mentor staff. Strong communication and leadership are essential, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years minimum property management experience and related background.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Input into budget development by analyzing financial statements and market information.
• Set rent rates, ensure timely collection and postings, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve invoices and manage vendor/contractor communications and payments.
• Oversee lease enforcement, renewals, inspections, and notices.
• Gathers and interprets market trends to drive occupancy and revenue goals.
• Ensure resident satisfaction and timely response to issues.
• Supervise and develop property staff and ensure safety/appearance standards.
