Job summary

Capital Square Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at an assigned property, leading a team and coordinating resources to meet financial and service goals.

You will manage leasing activities, budgets, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with housing laws and company policies. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and proficiency in property management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Proven supervisory experience in multi-family property operations.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in property management software, preferably Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and manage team members to meet budgeted financial and operational goals.
• Review and analyze financial statements, marketing data, and reports to guide strategic decisions.
• Approve vendor invoices, ensure insurance certificates are valid, and code charges correctly.
• Lead leasing processes, approve applications, perform inspections, and enforce lease requirements.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and service requests to promote retention.
