Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and finances, and ensure safety and compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will develop annual budgets, monitor revenues, and lead marketing efforts to maintain high occupancy. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of property operations and staff on-site.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, and financial activities.
• Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and vendor invoices.
• Plan marketing and leasing strategies to optimize occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Lead emergency response and ensure timely service request resolution.
