Job summary

University Partners seeks a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and strategic planning for a high-traffic property. You will manage leasing, staffing, budgeting, and compliance to deliver quality resident experiences.

Responsibilities include planning marketing initiatives, maintaining occupancy and NOI, supervising staff, and coordinating with leadership on capital projects, all while ensuring high standards of service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience (or equivalent)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, journals, and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and present information to groups.
• Strong budgeting and operating statement understanding.
• Ability to lead and manage staff and handle conflicts professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement annual business-marketing plan for the property.
• Maintain occupancy levels and budgeted rents.
• Monitor operating budgets and report variances monthly.
• Lead staff meetings and oversee leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and fair housing laws.
• Develop resident retention, marketing, and advertising programs.
• Handle resident issues and move-in/move-out processes.
• Coordinate with Regional Manager on major repairs and capital improvements.
