Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Porter/Gatekeeper to provide optimal care and maintenance of a residential property's common areas, indoors and outdoors. The role may assist with general maintenance, cleaning and moving services.

The position emphasizes a customer-centric approach in a collegiate environment, requiring initiative and attention to detail to ensure safe, attractive property amenities for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma.
• Efficient in reading instructions and documenting labor and materials.
• Record of punctuality and dependability, ability to work under deadlines and after-hours.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Job location is at the assigned property.
• Serves in an "on-call" capacity, except during approved PTO periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs and standards.
• Perform physically demanding tasks to maintain the asset.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas.
• Sweep and remove debris from curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairs.
• Maintain and repair stairwell treads.
• Maintain and repair exterior lighting and report inventory.
• Mow lawns, trim planting beds, rake leaves.
• Apply weed and feed, top seed and water areas.
• Install seasonal plantings, shrubs, trees, rocks, water features.
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs as directed.
• Maintain irrigation systems and fountains.
• Clean pool and spa per specs and code compliance.
• Perform routine pool equipment maintenance.
• Know emergency procedures for utilities and safety.
• Promote safety to limit property loss and injuries.
