Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Porter/Gatekeeper to maintain the common areas of a residential property. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and proactive upkeep in a collegiate environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or trade program
• One year of full-time lawn/grounds maintenance experience or equivalent
• Ability to read instructions and document labor and materials
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle if required
• Ability to stand 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property common areas per SOPs and industry standards
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain assets and assist with maintenance needs
• Remove trash and debris from common areas continuously
• Sweep curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairways as scheduled
• Maintain and repair stairwell treads and exterior lighting
• Mow lawns, trim planting beds, and manage landscaping cleanup
• Apply weed and feed and assist with seasonal plantings
• Maintain irrigation systems and pool equipment per specifications
• Know emergency procedures and engage shutoffs when needed
• Promote safety to minimize property loss and injuries
• Pressure-wash sidewalks and buildings when required
• Assist in snow removal and after-hours emergencies
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform
