Job summary

Abbey Residential in Humble, TX seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations on-site and maintain excellent resident relations.

The role emphasizes effective communication, timely rent collection, and coordinating lease renewals, with a focus on Fair Housing compliance and delivering high-quality service. Onsite software experience (Onesite) and a valid driver’s license are preferred; benefits include medical/dental, 401k, holidays, sick days, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of assistant property manager experience.
• Onesite experience preferred but other PM software is ok.
• Valid Driver's license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in time management and critical thinking
• Understanding of Fair Housing laws

Responsibilities

• Income Collection: Update rents, deposits and application fees daily; issue notices as necessary (late payments, eviction notices, returned check memos).
• Actively pursue recovery of delinquent monies in accordance with state and local laws.
• Ensure proper handling and scheduling of evictions and skipped units.
