Job summary

Abbey Residential Services, Inc is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support financial operations and resident relations. The role involves rent collection, notices, and delinquency recovery while ensuring compliance with housing laws.

You will assist with leasing, renewals, and resident retention activities, working closely with the property team to provide excellent service and maintain occupancy targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of assistant property manager experience.
• Onsite experience preferred; other PM software experience acceptable.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and critical thinking abilities.
• Understanding of Fair Housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Income Collection: update rents, deposits and application fees daily; issue notices as needed; pursue delinquent amounts per laws; handle evictions and skipped units.
• Resident Relations: provide quality customer service; inspect move-outs and vacancies; participate in resident retention activities.
• Marketing: knowledgeable in leasing processes and resident retention; manage renewals monthly.
