Job summary

DCC Propane, LLC is seeking a Field Manager to support location operations across our propane distribution network. You will oversee daily site activities, supervise drivers and staff, and coordinate delivery schedules with the Dispatcher to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective service.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, strong communication, and hands-on leadership in logistics, inventory control, and customer service. Local travel and CDL Class B are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelors in business management preferred.
• 3+ years of propane distribution or related field experience; minimum 2 years in supervisory role.
• Must hold CDL Class B; strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; solid computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the propane distribution facility.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with Dispatcher and optimize routing for timeliness.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Ensure fleet and equipment are maintained and safe to operate.
• Supervise, train and evaluate drivers, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Manage work schedules and resolve employee issues; foster positive team morale.
• Handle customer inquiries and service requests professionally and promptly.
• Assist in budget development and monitoring; analyze operational reports.
