Job summary

DCC Propane, LLC is seeking a Field Manager to oversee daily operations at our propane distribution facility in the region. You will coordinate delivery schedules, supervise drivers and staff, monitor inventory, and ensure safety and compliance across all activities.

The role requires at least 3 years in propane distribution with supervisory experience, a High School Diploma or GED (bachelors preferred), and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required; bachelor's in business management preferred.
• 3+ years of propane distribution or related field experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Microsoft Office basics to intermediate (Word, Excel, Outlook); strong communication skills; CDL Class B; local travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the propane distribution facility.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and routing with Dispatcher to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels; place orders as needed.
• Ensure equipment and vehicles are maintained; use Fleetio as required.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate facility staff including drivers and technicians.
• Develop and manage work schedules; ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Handle customer inquiries and service requests professionally.
• Assist in budget development and cost-control with Area Manager.
• Coordinate logistics with suppliers and corporate Supply Team; maintain delivery records.
