Job summary

DCC Propane, LLC is seeking a Field Manager to oversee daily propane distribution operations, logistics, and staffing at our McDonough, GA location. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence while coordinating with the dispatcher and corporate supply team.

The role emphasizes supervision, budget awareness, and customer service, with hands-on involvement in inventory, routing, and equipment maintenance to support reliable deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED; bachelor's degree in business management preferred.
• 3+ years in propane distribution or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory role.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency.
• Good phone skills and computer literacy.
• Local travel; CDL Class B required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the propane distribution facility.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher to manage delivery schedules and routing.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Maintain and ensure equipment and vehicles are operational; use Fleetio as required.
• Cross-train in service and delivery to respond to customer needs.
• Develop and manage staff schedules; oversee drivers, technicians, and admin.
