Job summary

Border States seeks a Project Support Specialist to provide foundational technical understanding and project coordination for complex customer projects at the Rapid City location. This developmental role blends technical review, documentation management, risk identification, and partial ownership of customer-facing deliverables to build proficiency and execution skills.

Qualifications

• Business or trade degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of customer service, quotation, or sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews BOMs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy prior handoff.
• Assists in preparing quotations, vendor pricing, and documenting alternatives.
• Prepares customer-facing documentation including status updates and submittal packages.
• Coordinates with PMs, purchasing, logistics and vendors to ensure alignment on schedules and material needs.
