Job summary

Border States seeks a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and tracking of materials across designated work sites. You will serve as the single point of contact for receiving, inspection, scheduling, and delivery coordination with internal teams and customers.

Requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience and strong PC/Microsoft Office skills. This in-person role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely communication with our diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• 4-year business, industrial distribution or related degree or the equivalent in work experience.
• Two years of prior customer service or related work experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides material planning, coordination, and tracking for multiple concurrent projects.
• Supports material management functions at designated work sites to meet customer's project needs.
• Acts as a single point of contact providing material planning, coordination and tracking including receiving, visual inspection and overall material project coordination.
• Coordinates and communicates with internal and external stakeholders project material schedules and status including delivery, receipt and non-conformance.
• Coordinates and reports value added services and special programs for strategic business relationship customers.
