Job summary

TYLin’s Buildings team in Syracuse, New York is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join our TYLin | Buildings team in Syracuse, NY. The role focuses on structural design and analysis for diverse buildings, including new construction and renovations. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, 3–6 years’ experience, and proficiency with REVIT and structural software (RISA/SAP/RAM).

P.E. preferred; S.E. asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required.
• 3–6 years of structural engineer experience on buildings projects.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license asset.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation is a plus.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA, SAP, RAM).
• Working knowledge of REVIT.
• Client focused with collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to innovation and ethical practice.
• Ability to coordinate with staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects (steel, concrete, masonry, wood).
• Assist in preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Coordinate with staff and clients on projects.
