Job summary

TYLin's Buildings team in Buffalo, New York seeks a Project Structural Engineer to contribute to structural design and analysis for diverse building projects, including historic preservation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop robust solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering with 3–6 years of relevant experience, and PE or SE licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–6 years of structural engineer experience in buildings.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Coordinating with staff and clients on projects
