Job summary

TYLin’s Buildings team seeks a Project Structural Engineer to join our Buffalo, NY office. You will perform structural design and analysis for diverse buildings, contributing to drawings, specs, and site investigations.

We value collaboration, integrity, and innovative solutions, with PE preferred and SE considered an asset. Historic preservation experience is a plus, and a Master’s degree enhances candidacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering.
• Master’s degree would be an asset.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be an asset.
• 3–6 years of experience in structural engineering for buildings.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation is a plus.
• Proficiency with RISA, SAP, RAM and working knowledge of REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects.
• Assisting in drawings and specifications preparation.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Coordinating with staff and clients on projects.
