Job summary

TYLin seeks a Project Structural Engineer to join our Buildings team in Buffalo, NY. You will contribute to structural design and analysis across diverse building projects, including renovations and historic preservation, coordinating with clients and staff.

The role requires a Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering degree, 3–6 years of experience, and proficiency with REVIT and structural software. A PE license is preferred, with SE status a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering is required.
• Master’s Degree is an asset.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
• 3–6 years of experience in structural engineering for buildings; historic buildings experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for buildings using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and historic systems.
• Assist in preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions and coordinate with clients and staff.
