TYLin's Buildings team in Rochester, New York seeks a Project Structural Engineer to deliver structural design and analysis across building types. The role involves collaborating with staff and clients, coordinating drawings and specs, and contributing to innovative, sustainable solutions for diverse projects.

The candidate should have a Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering background, 3–6 years of relevant experience, and licenses or assets as noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
• 3-6 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM).
• Working knowledge of REVIT.
• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
• Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
• High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
• Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.

Responsabilités

• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Coordinating with staff and clients on projects.
