Job summary

TYLin, a global infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Buildings team in New York City. You will lead structural design and analysis for a range of buildings, from new construction to renovations, partnering with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver constructible, sustainable solutions.

The role requires 6–10 years of practical experience, strong proficiency with analysis software (RISA, SAP, RAM) and REVIT, and a track record of client-focused project

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required.
6–10 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer.
P.E. or S.E. license would be considered an asset.
Experience with REVIT and historic buildings preservation would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
Project management of staff and clients; mentoring junior staff.
