Job Title: Project Scheduler at Cumming Group

We are currently hiring for multiple Construction Schedulers in the Los Angeles, CA area, focusing on educational project construction within our education sector, serving K-12 and higher education institutions nationwide.

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing and maintaining program schedules, identifying relationships, milestones, and constraints.
2. Interpreting detailed construction drawings and understanding work scope.
3. Reviewing contractor schedule submissions and providing detailed feedback.
4. Performing QA/QC on schedule submittals, analyzing critical path, resource loading, and schedule content.
5. Conducting schedule Time Impact Analysis and negotiations related to delays.
6. Assessing scope and contract terms for time extensions.
7. Performing Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
8. Monitoring site progress and reporting.
9. Communicating effectively with contractors and team members.
10. Performing regular schedule QA/QC reviews and updates.
11. Ensuring data integrity and serving as a liaison among teams.
12. Preparing reports as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Understanding of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics.
• Experience with detailed cost and schedule analyses.
• Knowledge of project document control.
• Ability to develop logic-driven schedules.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to organizational goals and work collaboratively.
• Dependability, diligence, and resourcefulness.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields, with additional experience if degree is in another discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Construction Scheduling, proficient in Primavera and MS Office Suite.

Salary range: $95,000 - $126,666.68 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
