Job summary

Confidential GC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Project Manager or Assistant PM for its multifamily and commercial pipeline. The role supports from design through close-out and emphasizes culture-fit, growth, and a fun, professional atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
• 6+ years experience in Project Management with a General Contractor/Construction Management firm but experienced with the GC side.
• Local subcontractor & vendor relationships in the greater TN/Southeast markets.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the construction process from design & land acquisition through buyout, scheduling to c/o.
• Coordinate with Site Management Staff for seamless construction operations and to overcome challenges.
• Encourage new sub/vendor relationships in the area and maintain existing trade-partner relationships.
• Direct all facets of each project from pre-con and initial construction to close-out, ensuring safety, budget and schedule compliance.
• Collaborate with owners, management and staff to smoothly complete projects from Trees-to-Keys within the allocated schedule.
• Manage 1-2 projects simultaneously pertaining to mid-rise apartment, garden-style and podium structures.
