Job summary

Management Performance Associates, a premier Nashville-area GC with a century-long track record, is seeking a Project Manager (or Assistant PM) for ongoing multifamily and commercial projects. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, schedule adherence, and strong collaboration with design teams and field staff.

You will initiate projects from design and land acquisition through buyout and c/o, coordinate with site management, grow sub/vendor networks in TN/Southeast, manage 1–2 mid-rise or

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
• 6+ years experience in Project Management with a General Contractor/Construction Management firm.
• Local subcontractor and vendor relationships in the greater TN/Southeast markets.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the construction process from design and land acquisition through buyout, scheduling to close-out.
• Coordinate with Site Management Staff for seamless construction operations and overcome challenges.
• Foster new sub/vendor relationships and maintain existing trade-partner relationships in the area.
• Direct all facets of each project from pre-con and initial construction through close-out to ensure safety, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate with owners and management to complete projects from
• Trees-to-Keys
• within allocated schedule.
• Manage 1-2 projects simultaneously pertaining to mid-rise apartment complex construction including garden-style & podium types.
