Job summary

United Future is seeking a Project Manager (or Assistant PM) to lead multifamily and commercial construction projects in the Nashville area. The role focuses on driving design-to-build processes, coordinating site operations, and fostering strong sub/vendor relationships to keep projects on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in GC/CM roles, a construction management degree, and deep local market ties; the position offers a long-term culture-fit with excellent benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
• 6+ years experience in Project Management with a General Contractor / Construction Management firm.
• Local subcontractor & vendor relationships in the greater TN / Southeast markets.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the construction process from design & land acquisition through buyout, scheduling to c/o.
• Coordinate with the Site Management Staff for seamless construction operations and help overcome challenges.
• Encourage new sub/vendor relationships and maintain existing trade-partner relationships.
• Direct all facets of each project from pre-con and initial construction to close-out, ensuring safety, budget, and schedule.
• Work with staff, owners and management to complete project from Trees-to-Keys within allocated schedule.
• Manage 1-2 projects simultaneously pertaining to mid-rise apartment complex construction (garden-style & podium types).
