Job summary

Rosendin’s Project Manager I role oversees projects from planning through completion, delivering client satisfaction and adhering to schedule and budget. This position supports several small to medium projects or one large project under senior PM guidance.

Based on construction sites in Sterling, VA, you will coordinate teams, prepare estimates, manage change orders, and monitor costs while upholding Rosendin’s safety standards and service commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in construction project management.
• Combination of training, education and relevant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize a project under Senior PM or Division Manager guidance.
• Supervise project activities, assign tasks, and maintain policies and standards.
• Provide PM expertise for initial client contact, scope, schedule and resources.
• Prepare a complete project estimate with plans, specs, and bid form review.
• Establish objectives, policies and performance standards per corporate guidelines.
• Supervise change orders and negotiate them to completion.
• Monitor on-site construction with Foreman to meet schedule and budget.
• Prepare monthly costing reports under senior PM supervision.
• Manage contract finances, progress billing and costs to protect company interests.
