Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring client satisfaction with unparalleled service. You’ll support several small to medium projects or one large project under senior PM guidance.

You will plan, organize, supervise, and manage project activities, including cost estimates, change orders, and monthly costing reports, while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role.
• Can be a combination of training, education, and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.
• Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers and maintaining policies and standards.
• Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact and assess scope, schedule, and resources needed.
• Prepare a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specs, and bid form.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
• Supervise change orders preparation and negotiate changes.
• Monitor construction activities with Foreman and Area Superintendent to keep on schedule and budget.
• Investigate potential issues and implement corrective measures within guidelines.
• Supervise preparation of change quotations for presentation to the client and negotiate to conclusion.
• Prepare monthly costing reports under Senior PM or Division Manager.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and client relations.
• Review documents prepared by Assistant PM before submission.
• Represent the company in project meetings under PM II or Sr. PM guidance.
• Other responsibilities as assigned within the business unit.
