You will be responsible for overseeing all geotechnical construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional project management skills, a deep understanding of geotechnical construction, and a proven track record of successful project completion. Their is travel required in the role throughout Mid Atlantis Region (NC, TN, GA, FL, MD).

Responsibilities

• 1. As a Permanent Project Manager in Geotechnical Construction, you will manage and oversee all aspects of geotechnical construction projects from initial planning to completion.


• 2. Operate drilling rigs and set up drills for construction projects, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.


• 3. Utilize your knowledge of casing, down hole hammer, and hollow bar in the execution of projects.


• 4. Prepare detailed schematics and project schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project progress.


• 5. Monitor project progress continuously, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions promptly.


• 6. Oversee the construction process, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard and complies with all relevant regulations and standards.


• 7. Manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with the project objectives and standards.


• 8. Use your mechanical skills to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.


• 9. Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to project management.

Qualifications

• 1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a specific focus on geotechnical construction.


• 2. Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successful project completion.


• 3. Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.


• 4. Experience in operating drilling rigs and setting up drills.


• 5. Familiarity with casing, down hole hammer, and hollow bar.


• 6. Experience in construction management, site management, and subcontractor management.


• 7. Strong knowledge of the prefabricated metal building industry.


• 8. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.


• 9. The ability to prepare detailed schematics and project schedules.


• 10. Proven ability to monitor projects and implement solutions to potential issues promptly.


• 11. A degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
