Jobot is seeking a technically adept leader to drive geotechnical projects across the Mid-Atlantic, influencing design and construction decisions. You will mentor engineers, grow the office footprint, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high-impact infrastructure and site development work.

Ideal candidates bring PE licensure or near-term eligibility, a strong client-relations orientation, and proven leadership in geotechnical investigations, reporting, and project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • PE license or ability to obtain licensure in the near term.
  • Experience managing geotechnical projects from investigation through design and construction.
  • Experience performing subsurface investigations, borings, laboratory testing, and analyses.
  • Experience preparing geotechnical reports and recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, earthwork, and site development.
  • Experience supporting transportation, marine, federal, commercial, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers while developing client relationships.
  • Strong communication, technical leadership, and project management skills.

This a seller - doer role. You will have a large impact in growing the existing office footprint with various projects and clientele. They already have an established presence with other engineers locally to collaborate with. This is not a from scratch build.

Job Details
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure in the immediate future
  • Experience managing geotechnical engineering projects from investigation through design and construction support
  • Background performing and interpreting subsurface investigations, borings, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analyses
  • Experience preparing geotechnical reports and recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, earthwork, and site development
  • Experience supporting transportation, marine, federal, commercial, or public infrastructure projects
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers while developing strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Strong communication, technical leadership, and project management skills
