Convergint seeks a full-time Project Manager to lead complex, multi-discipline projects from planning through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and customer relations to ensure quality and on-time delivery. This role interfaces with customers and internal teams to maximize satisfaction and profitability.

You should have a technical PM background, strong leadership, and excellent communication. The role is based in Raleigh with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, electronic security systems and AV systems).
• Coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; solid leadership orientation.
• Team leadership, team building and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages many aspects of assigned projects (typically valued up to $1M) from award through completion.
• Translates customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans.
• Reviews and approves estimated costs prior to bid; engages in project contract negotiation.
• Provides technical assistance to sales; supervises design engineering and installation labor.
• Maintains project schedules, cost reports, and records for internal/external reporting.
