Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join a dynamic team that supports growth and exceptional service. The role emphasizes planning, directing, and coordinating projects in building automation, fire/life safety, and electronic security environments to drive outcomes.

Ideal candidates have extensive project management experience, strong leadership, and solid IT/networking basics, with a focus on cost control and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire/life safety, or electronic security).
• Strong coaching, mentoring and staff development skills with leadership orientation.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking principles.
• Advanced financial analytics including cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize and direct, application engineering, field installation and start-up of assigned projects.
• Ensure projects stay within budget and time schedules to maintain cash flow.
• Interface with customers to maximize satisfaction, safety and quality across all projects.
• Oversee projects as a senior PM with potential direct reports and high-profile accounts.
• Perform other duties as required.
