Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, budgeting, procurement and field startup. You will interface with customers to ensure safety, quality and on-time completion while driving positive cash flow.

The role emphasizes leadership, integrity, and a strong customer-service mindset within a collaborative culture that values growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical projects (building automation, fire alarm, electronic security and AV systems).
• Strong leadership, mentoring and staff development abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking principles and MS Office suite.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, direct, and manage all aspects of assigned projects from award to closeout.
• Lead procurement and subcontractor activities to meet budget and schedule.
• Prepare project plans, cost estimates, change orders and invoices; assist with collections.
• Communicate project requirements clearly to teams and customers; maintain records.
• Monitor costs, schedule, risk and quality to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
• Manage direct reports and supervise project design and installation activities.
